Swing Thing is an authentic, 40s-style swing band, that brings the sound and looks of that fabulous era. If you want smooth, mellow jazz… we’ve got it. If you want a bouncing swing to really get the party moving then that’s what you’ll get. Swing Thing is the perfect band for any vintage-type event. With our 7 piece lineup, we can set up quickly, ready to play with minimum disruption. The great atmosphere that any live music brings to an event is immeasurable, but swing seems to appeal to all ages. Our fabulous rhythm section of drums, piano and double bass keep that groove going, whilst the punchy brass lines of our amazing trumpet and saxophone players bring the tune to life and will blow you away.

About Swing Thing

The final icing on the cake; to complete the line-up is the velvet smooth sounds of our superb vocalist. Although we pack a big sound, we are a relatively small band and so are able to be very competitively priced. We can also fit into smaller venues and are great for garden parties or weddings. Line up: Piano, Double Bass, Drums, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax/Clarinet, Trumpet, female vocalist. We do offer DJ/background music as an extra.
